What information we collect
This site has two forms: a quote request and a free website audit request. Depending on which you use and what you choose to fill in, we receive your name, email address, phone number, business or organization name, website address, what you need, your timeline, and your message. That information arrives in our email inbox so we can respond to you.
If you call or text our business number, that's covered in the text messaging section below. Beyond that, we don't ask for or collect any other personal information from visitors.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't set cookies, and it doesn't run analytics. We don't count your visits, profile you, or track you across other sites. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.
Hosting and email delivery
This site runs on a third-party hosting provider that keeps standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) for short periods for security and performance. We don't access these logs unless we're investigating a security issue.
When you submit a form, your message is delivered to our inbox through a third-party email provider, which processes the contents only long enough to deliver them. Before it's sent, the form runs a quick automated spam check from our hosting provider so we're reading messages from people, not bots.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to you. We don't sell, rent, or share it with third parties. If we end up working together, we may keep your email and the conversation in our records as part of the project history.
Text messaging
If you text our business number, (509) 351-2254, or tell us on a form that it's okay to text you, we receive your phone number and the contents of your messages. We use them to reply to you and to talk through your request or project, and for nothing else.
No mobile information will be shared with, or sold to, third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and your consent to receive texts stay with us.
You can stop texts from us at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or emailing hello@mehrutherm.com. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply; the full details are in our terms of service.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions and correspondence for as long as we need them to reply to you or to document a project. Business and financial records, including invoices and the bookkeeping for our own accounts, are kept for the period the IRS requires for business books and records, generally seven years. We review what we're holding at least once a year and delete what we no longer need.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your information from our records at any time. Email hello@mehrutherm.com and we'll do it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll post a notice somewhere visible.
